Happy New Year !

This greeting will probably awfully out of date by the time I get around to updating this site again, but never mind .I've been very busy writing and producing more and more music for a variety of different situations and even doing a bit of drumming too. The latter seems to diminished in importance to me, temporarily at least while I concentrate on writing.

Any of you who live in the UK and are football fans AND watch the FA Cup on SKY will be fascinated, I'm sure to know, that the rather grand orchestral music that is the theme was written by my partner in crime Cliff and myself. There was a lot of competition to secure the job and we're both proud that we secured it.

A major development that has occurred recently is that I'm now managed by the guys who up until last year looked after Jamiroquoi. They really liked the new material I'd been working on and subsequently introduced me to an excellent singer they know. It's early days, but our work together so far has been excellent ans bodes well for the future. Much more of this to come hopefully.....

There are several other things in the pipeline but more of them as they develop..until then all the best,

Steve

.

a couple of months ago I was the "International Guest" at a big drum festival in Hungary. It was my first visit there and I must say I had a great time, the people I met giving me a very warm and hospitable welcome. I'd just like to thank them all for a memorable time. As far as my original material is concerned, I'm trying to sort out a deal, publishing and maybe management at the moment. Any developments and I will post them here. Thanks to all those of you who have enquired as to my involvement or otherwise in the upcoming JB shows at the RFH. I won't be playing kit there, although I am making some behind the scenes contributions. Otherwise, anything exciting happens and I'll let you know........ Steve
